American Treasures celebrates the music of America and the Chorale’s 25th anniversary. This CD is a sampler of American classics, from the music of colonial composer William Billings to American folk song arrangements and original compositions of outstanding American composers Samuel Barber, Randall Thompson, and Jeffrey Van. This recording was submitted for consideration for a Grammy award in 2009.
