We WILL sing for you this season!

For the safety of our audience members, singers and the public, live performances have been suspended until 2021. However, you can enjoy the beautiful choral artistry of the Susquehanna Chorale through two new virtual concerts.

Thanks to generous support from the community, both concerts have been made available free to the public!

Special thanks to the following for their support in making our 2020 virtual concerts possible:

Cross Keys Village in New Oxford, Anne M. and Philip H. Glatfelter III Family Foundation, Howard E. Heckler, Josiah W. and Bessie H. Kline Foundation, McCormick Family Foundation, The Presser Foundation, Renew Cumberland County Relief Block Grant Program, United Service Foundation, Inc., and University Music Service.

This concert includes selections from the 2019 Youth Choral Festival, an inspiring intergenerational event with performances by the nearly 200 voices of the Susquehanna Children’s, Youth, and Young Women’s Chorales, and the Susquehanna Chorale. The Youth Choral Festival was performed at Messiah University’s High Center for the Performing Arts.

Usher in the holiday season in your favorite way - with beloved Christmas music by the Susquehanna Chorale! The concert features two new pieces performed virtually by the choir members: Dan Forrest’s arrangement of “The First Noel,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” by arranger John Rutter.

The virtual concert also includes selections from the Chorale’s past Candlelight Christmas concerts, performed at Messiah University’s High Center for the Performing Arts, and a piece from the group’s “Susquehanna Christmas II” recording.

The concert includes one sing-along carol for viewers, a favorite part of the Candlelight Christmas concert experience, and a special message from Conductor Linda L. Tedford.

The concert concludes with the Chorale’s traditional finale, Malcolm Sargent’s exquisite setting of “Silent Night.”
